GMR Hyderabad Airport to buy 70% in ESR GMR Logistics Park, making it a 100% subsidiary.

GMR Airports announced that its subsidiary, GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL), will acquire a 70 per cent stake in ESR GMR Logistics Park (EGLPPL) for over ₹41 crore. GHIAL’s arm, GMR Hyderabad Aerotropolis, already owns 30 per cent in the company. With this deal, EGLPPL will become a wholly owned subsidiary of GHIAL.
A share purchase agreement has been signed with the remaining shareholders to facilitate the acquisition. EGLPPL is involved in the development of a warehousing and logistics park in Hyderabad, playing a strategic role in the region’s infrastructure growth.
This move aligns with GHIAL’s broader airport land development strategy, which focuses on building a diverse asset base in industrial, warehousing, commercial, hospitality, and retail sectors. The goal is to boost the airport’s ecosystem and contribute to regional socio-economic development. The acquisition enhances GMR’s vision of integrated airport-led urban development in Hyderabad.
