Flipkart names Amer Hussainn VP–Supply Chain to scale grocery and minutes operations and infrastructure.

Flipkart has appointed Amer Hussainn as Vice President, Supply Chain – Grocery & Minutes, strengthening leadership for two of its key growth categories—Flipkart Grocery and Flipkart Minutes.
In his new role, Amer will be responsible for shaping and executing the supply chain strategy, scaling infrastructure and operations, and enabling stronger cross-functional collaboration to enhance customer experience and support business goals across both categories.
Amer joins Flipkart from Reliance Consumer and brings over 25 years of experience in leading complex, multi-site operations, building agile supply chain networks, driving operational excellence, and spearheading digital transformation and sustainability initiatives. Prior to Reliance, he held senior leadership roles at Jubilant FoodWorks and The Coca-Cola Company, where he spent more than 20 years across manufacturing, supply chain, environment and sustainability functions, and played a key role in setting up the company’s first Digital Lean factory.
Known for his global perspective and technology-driven approach, Amer combines deep operational expertise with a strong focus on building high-performing teams. He sees a significant opportunity to contribute to Flipkart’s broader purpose by leveraging supply chain excellence to deliver value and support the aspirations of millions of consumers, sellers and the wider ecosystem.
Outside of work, Amer practises Pranic healing meditation, a spiritual discipline inspired by his mother, and enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures and connecting with history with his family.
