Reflecting on EVO SCS’s successful first year, Sivagurunathan B. shares,
“Our journey has been marked by milestone achievements, aligning EVO’s supply chain solutions with customer expectations. Starting modestly in a coworking space with a clear strategy, our focus on the 3P’s—people, product, and process—has been instrumental in our success. Today, EVO boasts exclusive offices across all regions, manned by a combination of dynamic frontliners and experienced leadership, fostering a winning team dynamic. Despite market disruptions, such as vessel d-routings and increased transit times, EVO remains committed to excellence in ocean freight services. Our unwavering commitment to excellence has enabled us to navigate these challenges. We have provided robust liner strategies and proactive equipment placement planning to meet customer expectations, even participating in global yearly RFQs for Ocean 24–25 with commitments on pricing and space. In light of India’s economic growth forecasts indicating a smaller increase in shipping trade volume and merchant fleet size, challenges loom. Nonetheless, major shipping lines are gearing up to launch new vessels with significantly larger capacities than are currently available. This demonstrates the industry’s resolve to confront future demands, despite prevailing market conditions.”
Reflecting on EVO’s inaugural year, Chandrashekhar Jain shares,
“EVO’s one-year journey has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. We embarked on this journey with confidence in our vision, not knowing where it would lead us. Today, our journey stands vindicated as we’ve grown from a team of 4 to spanning across 4 states with a workforce of 40. It’s invigorating to be part of such a youthful and dynamic team. I am grateful and energised to contribute to this solid foundation. This marks just the beginning, and we have a promising journey ahead in the air freight industry. India’s overall economic growth significantly influences air freight demand. Robust economic expansion typically translates into heightened trade activities and increased demand for air cargo services. Investments in airport infrastructure and air cargo facilities hold the potential to enhance operational efficiency and spur growth in the sector.”
During the inaugural anniversary commemorations, Rakesh Jakhmola reflected,
“As the CFO of Evo Supply Chain Solutions, I’m proud to say that our company is poised for significant growth and success in the coming years. EVO has solidified its position as a dynamic player in the logistics industry, offering innovative solutions and unparalleled customer service. We measure our success by the value we bring to our customers and communities. Together, we navigate financial challenges with confidence, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to excellence, charting a course towards a brighter future for the freight forwarding industry and beyond. In the face of complex freight-forwarding landscapes, EVO remains committed to excellence and innovation. Through strategic financial navigation, we chart a course that turns challenges into opportunities and uncertainty into resilience.”
Future ahead
The company’s approach to ensuring smoother international logistics revolves around strategic partnerships with global entities. With a vast network spanning approximately 40 countries, they serve as trusted representatives for several significant global companies in India. Leveraging their extensive experience in the industry, they prioritise efficiency by carefully selecting partners and refraining from working with multiple agents in each country. Furthermore, they are in the process of acquiring IATA certification to further enhance their capabilities and credibility in the international logistics domain.
As EVO embarks on its journey beyond the first year, the company remains steadfast in its commitment to innovation, excellence, and customer satisfaction. With visionary leadership, a dedicated team, and a robust strategy in place, EVO is poised to redefine the landscape of logistics and set new standards of excellence in the industry.
