Etihad Cargo has further solidified its partnership with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) by adding Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to its list of US stations. Starting this week, WFS will handle cargo services for Etihad Cargo at ORD, in addition to its existing collaborations at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).
The move aims to provide consistent and high-quality cargo handling services across all of Etihad Cargo’s US stations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and Etihad Cargo’s own quality benchmarks.
Frank Clemente, Senior Vice President Cargo and Express, North America at WFS, highlighted recent investments in facilities and digital solutions, including auto-dimensioning, dangerous goods checks, and real-time warehouse shipment monitoring, at WFS locations.
At ORD, Etihad Cargo will have access to dedicated parking positions alongside WFS’s warehouse, including temperature-controlled storage rooms.
