DCBA members toured AISATS’ multimodal cargo terminal at Noida Airport, exploring facilities, timelines, and new trade opportunities.

Members of the Delhi Customs Brokers Association (DCBA), led by its President Devendra Singh Bhadoria, have visited the newly constructed Multimodal Cargo Terminal operated by AISATS at Noida International Airport as the greenfield airport prepares to commence operations.
The visit aimed to familiarise customs brokers and logistics service providers with the cargo handling infrastructure and assess emerging business opportunities at the upcoming international gateway. The delegation included around 70 DCBA members, representing customs brokerage firms and logistics companies from across the region.
Addressing the gathering, Shailesh Kumar, AVP – Commercial and Business Development, AISATS, outlined the operational roadmap for the terminal. He confirmed that domestic cargo operations are scheduled to begin by mid-April 2026, followed by international cargo operations within the next 90 days.
Kumar detailed the scale of the first phase of the Multi-Modal Cargo Hub (MMCH), which spans 87 acres and is being developed as a pioneering integrated cargo ecosystem in India. Of the total area, 30 acres are dedicated to the Integrated Cargo Terminal (ICT), while 57 acres will house the Integrated Warehousing and Logistics Zone (IWLZ). The MMCH will be developed in multiple phases and is designed to handle all cargo types, including perishable and temperature-sensitive shipments.
Also present was Raj Mahmia, Head – Cargo Logistics Services (Pan India) at Air India SATS. He highlighted the strategic importance of the hub’s location, noting that the facility will seamlessly integrate multiple transport modes while offering consolidated ancillary and value-added services. This, he said, will create an efficient and reliable cargo throughput corridor for domestic and international trade.
Speaking on behalf of the trade community, DCBA President Bhadoria emphasised the need for seamless, technology-driven cargo operations to reduce logistics costs and improve commercial viability for exporters and importers. He stressed the importance of developing the terminal as an effective transshipment and transit hub to boost EXIM volumes and contribute to India’s long-term economic vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Bhadoria also encouraged the logistics fraternity to proactively explore business opportunities at Noida International Airport by leveraging AISATS’ modern infrastructure and by establishing AFSs and CFSs near the airport to achieve operational efficiencies and cost advantages.
The visit underscored growing industry interest in Noida International Airport as a future cargo gateway and a key node in India’s evolving multimodal logistics network.
