CMA CGM finalises its largest-ever acquisition, acquiring Bolloré Logistics for €4.85 billion, a significant step in its logistics development strategy.
The Bolloré Group and CMA CGM Group have successfully concluded the sale of 100 percent of Bolloré Logistics to CMA CGM, marking a historic moment as the latter’s largest acquisition since its inception in 1978.
The transaction, valued at €4.85 billion, considers estimated debt and cash on the completion date. While the transfer of Bolloré Logistics Sweden awaits foreign investment clearance in Sweden, the acquisition is set to complement CMA CGM’s maritime transport line of business.
Rodolphe Saadé, CEO and Chairman of CMA CGM Group, expresses gratitude to the Bolloré Group for a constructive dialogue and welcomes the French flagship into the CMA CGM family. The newly formed entity, comprising CEVA and Bolloré Logistics, emerges as the world’s fifth-largest in its sector, enabling an expanded range of services for customers.
