Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan laid the foundation for Adani’s ₹600 crore logistics park in Kalamassery, promising jobs and growth.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan laid the foundation stone for the Adani Logistics Park at Kalamassery, describing it as a major step towards strengthening the state’s industrial ecosystem. The facility, spread over 70 acres near the HMT industrial area, involves an investment of around ₹600 crore in its first phase and is expected to generate significant direct and indirect employment opportunities.
Vijayan noted that under the government’s Entrepreneurship Year initiative, Kerala has already attracted ₹23,000 crore in investments and created 7.5 lakh job opportunities. He said projects such as the logistics park will further enhance the state’s business-friendly reputation.
Industries Minister P. Rajeeve highlighted that the project was showcased at the Invest Kerala Global Summit 2025 and would serve as a catalyst for inclusive growth and regional development.
The park will be equipped with digital solutions to ensure zero-touch operations, real-time supply chain visibility, and cost-efficient logistics. It will also feature EV charging stations, smart technologies, and sustainable infrastructure to support sectors including e-commerce, FMCG, pharma, automotive, and retail.
