Minister Rammohan Naidu discusses AI in civil aviation with YouTube and Google heads.
Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Rammohan Naidu, held detailed discussions in New Delhi with YouTube Global Head Neel Mohan, Google Asia Pacific Region Head Sanjay Gupta, MD of Government Affairs Sreenivas Reddy, and Global VP for YouTube Government Affairs Leslie Miller. The landmark meeting focused on leveraging technology for civil aviation and governance advancements.
During the talks, leaders explored the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in governance and innovative Google solutions to enhance efficiency and transparency within the civil aviation sector. Naidu emphasised AI’s potential to streamline processes and improve sectoral efficiency.
Expressing optimism, Rammohan Naidu stated, “The integration of AI and technology in governance and civil aviation holds immense potential. Collaborating with tech giants like YouTube and Google can create a more efficient and innovative aviation sector that benefits all.”
Neel Mohan highlighted YouTube’s growth in content creation, stressing its role in educating and entertaining billions globally. He supported creating impactful content to drive awareness in various sectors.
Rammohan Naidu requested YouTube’s help in spreading awareness about civil aviation, envisioning a partnership to educate the public about the sector’s intricacies and advancements. Additionally, he urged Google to support aviation-related startups, addressing industry challenges with innovative solutions.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to explore collaboration opportunities and implement innovative solutions to drive the future of civil aviation and governance.
