CEVA Logistics restructures to a product vertical-based model, integrating Bolloré Logistics by end of 2024.
CEVA Logistics is transitioning to a product vertical-based structure as it integrates Bolloré Logistics. The CMA CGM-owned company announced that Bolloré Logistics will be rebranded under CEVA Logistics by the end of 2024, enhancing product development and global service consistency.
The new organisation aims to accelerate the creation and application of innovative solutions across geographies. Additionally, CEVA is merging its air and ocean operations to leverage best practices and technological investments, including the CargoWise implementation.
This restructuring follows multiple logistics acquisitions by the CMA CGM Group. The acquisition of Bolloré Logistics was finalised in February, with the combined entity generating a pro forma 2023 revenue of $20.2 billion. CEVA transported 1.9 million TEU of ocean freight, 800,000 tons of airfreight, and managed 11.7 million square meters of warehousing, employing 110,000 people.
CEVA has also expanded its capabilities with acquisitions such as Ingram Micro’s CLS division, GEFCO, Cargex, and Colis Privé, enhancing its e-commerce, automotive, perishables, and last-mile delivery services.
