Celebi India has announced the commencement of its ground handling services at Chennai International Airport. From providing a high-quality experience in the terminal to preparing the aircraft to offer passengers a clean, comfortable, and safe flight, ensuring your baggage is correctly processed, and finally pushing the aircraft onto the taxiway to begin its journey, Celebi will do it all and much more.
Celebi has gone the extra mile, installing state-of-the-art infrastructure to offer quality ground handling services. Over 750 dedicated employees will be engaged by the end of this year to ensure airlines and passengers receive seamless, on-time service. Recently, US Bangla Airlines and YTO Cargo signed a ground handling contract with Celebi to look after their ground handling requirements at Chennai airport.
Chennai International Airport is the ninth airport in India for Celebi after successful operations at major airports like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Cochin, Ahmedabad, Goa (Manohar International Airport, Mopa), and Kannur.
As part of sustainability initiatives, Celebi has introduced eco-friendly services such as 100 percent electric, air-conditioned tarmac coaches, electric baggage and cargo towing tugs, taxi-bots, and bridge-mounted equipment services.
