Cargo Insights’ second webinar, “Global Trade Decoded: Logistics & Learning for the Future,” saw an enthusiastic turnout of over 110 participants, including more than 40 students from Coimbatore Marine College who joined via live campus screening. The virtual session sparked dynamic discussions on evolving trade strategies, logistics resilience, and the future of global commerce.
The event featured two high-impact speakers: Lt Gen D V Kalra, PVSM, AVSM (Retd), who shared strategic views on geopolitical shifts and their influence on commerce, and Tej Contractor, Director, MCC Container Lines, who provided in-depth analysis of trade realignments, regional diversification, and supply chain innovation.
A special highlight was the engaging panel discussion where Gen. Kalra emphasised the role of military logistics in shaping commercial supply chains, while Contractor delved into the importance of neutral logistics in a fragmented global landscape.
Participants also took part in a live quiz, with a chance to win a Delegate Pass worth ₹10,000 to the 4th Edition of the CargoNXT Logistics & SCM Summit 2025 at Shangri-La Eros, New Delhi, on September 5.
