The 31.42 km greenfield corridor intersects the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Yamuna Expressway and Dedicated Freight Corridor, enabling full multimodal transport convergence for the NCR region.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved a revised total capital cost of Rs. 3,630.77 crore for the construction of a greenfield expressway connecting Jewar International Airport to the Delhi-Faridabad-Ballabhgarh-Sohna Spur of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, announced on 10th March 2026.
The 31.42 km project corridor will provide direct, high-speed connectivity from South Delhi, Faridabad and Gurugram to Jewar International Airport, promoting economic growth and logistics efficiency across the National Capital Region. The corridor intersects the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Yamuna Expressway and the Dedicated Freight Corridor, enabling multimodal transport convergence.
Approximately 11 km of the project will be developed as an elevated highway forming a critical segment of the greenfield connectivity between the DND-Ballabhgarh Bypass and Jewar International Airport. The additional cost of the elevated corridor is Rs. 689.24 crore, of which the Government of Haryana has agreed to bear Rs. 450 crore.
For the cargo and logistics industry, the approval significantly strengthens Jewar International Airport’s multimodal potential. Direct connectivity to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and the Dedicated Freight Corridor positions the airport as a major gateway for NCR’s trade and manufacturing base.
