Blue Ocean’s IPSC in Dubai united 650+ global experts, shaping sustainable supply chains with UAE leadership.

Blue Ocean Corporation’s International Procurement and Supply Chain Conference (IPSC) has wrapped up in Dubai, drawing over 650 industry leaders and policymakers from around the globe. The prestigious event, held at the W Hotel, Palm Jumeirah, focused on “Redefining Global Trade: UAE Shaping Sustainable Supply Chains for the Future.”
The conference, under the honourable patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, saw his distinguished presence as chief guest. Joining him as guests of honour were former Indian cricket captain and Blue Ocean Director Board member Sourav Ganguly and renowned Indian social activist Amruta Devendra Fadnavis.
Ganguly delivered an inspiring address, emphasising the critical role of teamwork in achieving success, stating, “Success isn’t won alone. It is forged through teamwork and recognising every teammate’s role.” His insights resonated with delegates, reinforcing the importance of collaboration. Amruta Devendra Fadnavis highlighted the social impact of sustainable supply chains, noting, “Trade must uplift lives and protect our environment.”
The IPSC served as a dynamic platform to address pressing challenges and opportunities in procurement and supply chain management, with a keen spotlight on sustainability. Discussions delved into digital transformation, circular economy models, and the UAE’s strategic position as a trade hub connecting East and West. The event underscored the UAE’s significant investments in logistics, renewable energy, and smart infrastructure, positioning it as a global leader in sustainable trade innovation.
Dr. Sathya Menon, Group CEO of Blue Ocean Corporation, remarked on the event’s impact, “By uniting global expertise, we’ve showcased how the UAE is not just adapting to sustainable trade demands but leading the charge.” Abdul Azeez, Group Chairman, added, “Today’s discussions have laid the groundwork for supply chains that thrive sustainably.”
