Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal announces the annual Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, praising impact.
During the final day of the inaugural Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, Commerce & Industry Minister Piyush Goyal declared the event’s transition into an annual affair, applauding its substantial impact on the mobility sector. The expo, held from 1st to 3rd February, showcased innovations from 800 exhibitors and drew a record-breaking 150,000 registered visitors.
Minister Goyal expressed optimism about the mobility sector’s future, stating, “The Bharat Mobility Global Expo will be an institution of ideas and innovations, demonstrating India’s growth story annually.” Highlighting the symbiotic relationship between technology and the automotive sector, he envisioned software and technology companies contributing up to $150 billion to the mobility sector.
Emphasising the expo’s role in fostering collaborations, Goyal noted, “The response this year signifies the growing significance of the mobility sector in India.” The annual continuation is poised to significantly contribute to India’s mobility ecosystem, providing a dynamic platform for stakeholders to converge, innovate, and shape the industry’s future. The event, guided by the visionary 7C’s framework, showcased innovations, collaborations, and global participation, solidifying its position as a premier global mobility convergence point.
