B&H Worldwide completes end-to-end sea freight delivery of a decommissioned A330 cockpit from the UK to New Zealand.

B&H Worldwide, a global specialist in aerospace logistics, has successfully executed a complex international transport project, delivering a decommissioned Airbus A330 cockpit from the United Kingdom to New Zealand for Pacific Simulators (PacSim), a Christchurch-based leader in flight training devices.
The highly specialised move involved a fully customised, end-to-end logistics strategy tailored to PacSim’s precise requirements. The cockpit, destined to be converted into an advanced A330 flight training device, was shipped via secure sea freight in a 20-foot container, ensuring safe handling of the high-value aerospace asset throughout its journey.
The operation began in West Sussex, where B&H Worldwide’s UK transport and warehouse teams collected the cockpit and prepared it for export. Packing was carried out at the company’s secure Heathrow facility, followed by carefully monitored ocean transit from Southampton to Christchurch. On arrival in New Zealand, B&H’s local team managed customs clearance, final delivery, and devanning at an Approved Transitional Facility (ATF) in strict compliance with MPI biosecurity regulations.
“This specialist project highlights our versatility and deep understanding of aerospace logistics,” said Lee Hedges, Branch Manager, B&H Worldwide New Zealand. “While we are well known for time-critical AOG services, this delivery demonstrates our capability to manage complex, non-standard projects of any scale, providing customers with full transparency and confidence across the supply chain.”
Nathan Moulds, Chief Commercial Officer at Pacific Simulators, praised the execution, stating that B&H Worldwide’s meticulous planning and professional handling provided complete peace of mind. He added that the successful delivery now allows PacSim to begin transforming the A330 cockpit into a next-generation training device that will support the future of commercial aviation.
PacSim is a long-established manufacturer of EASA, FAA and ICAO-compliant, fully tactile, fixed-based flight training devices for global training centres, often integrating decommissioned aircraft components into advanced simulator solutions.
B&H Worldwide continues to support aviation manufacturers, MROs and operators worldwide with scalable, reliable logistics solutions, reinforcing its reputation for managing complex aerospace supply chain challenges with precision and care.
