Allcargo Group strengthens leadership with Punit Misra joining as President – Chairman Office & Chief Business Officer.
In a strategic move to reinforce its leadership and institutional depth, Allcargo Group, the India-born global logistics conglomerate, has appointed Punit Misra as President – Chairman Office & Chief Business Officer. In his new role, Misra will work closely with Shashi Kiran Shetty, Founder and Chairman of the Allcargo Group, to drive long-term sustainability and value creation across the Group’s diverse businesses. He will be based in Mumbai and report directly to Shetty.
The appointment underscores Allcargo Group’s continued commitment to strengthening its governance framework, institutional building, and long-term strategic growth.
With over three decades of leadership experience, Misra brings a wealth of knowledge spanning the media, entertainment, and FMCG sectors. Before joining Allcargo, he served at Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL), where he held several top positions, including CEO of India Broadcast Business, President of Content (Broadcast & Zee5 Digital), and President of International Business.
Earlier in his career, he was with Hindustan Unilever (HUL), where he worked across brand and category management roles and was part of HUL’s management committee as Executive Director & Vice President – Customer Development for India and South Asia.
