AIR ONE’s Boeing 747-400F touches down at East Midlands from Hong Kong, marking its debut scheduled service.

AIR ONE has marked a milestone with the launch of its first scheduled freighter service, following the arrival of a Boeing 747-400F at East Midlands Airport (EMA) from Hong Kong. Operated by its partner airline One Air, the inaugural flight landed on September 4 at 05:45, ahead of schedule, carrying 109,484 kilos of freight across 39 pallets.
The new four-times-weekly operation strengthens AIR ONE’s presence in Hong Kong. With evening departures and early morning arrivals in the UK, the service is designed for urgent shipments such as e-commerce and electronics. Once at EMA, cargo is swiftly distributed nationwide via Swissport’s feeder network, reaching hubs including London Heathrow, Manchester, and Birmingham.
From January 2020 to August 2025, AIR ONE completed over 3,000 charter flights, moving more than 300 million kilos of freight to 35 destinations worldwide. The company has also set up a permanent Hong Kong office led by Director Far East Spencer AuYeung, underscoring its long-term growth strategy and commitment to the market.
