One Air will operate scheduled Hong Kong services from East Midlands Airport using new aircraft as part of its fleet update.

Another Boeing 777 freighter aircraft that will be used by the group’s airline subsidiary, One Air, has been delivered by aviation company Air One International.
After landing in the UK on November 19 from Boeing’s Everett production line in the US, the aircraft will be flown by One Air out of its East Midlands Airport (EMA) base on a scheduled flight to Hong Kong.
Another air-operated 777 freighter was delivered to the company in August.
“The addition of a second 777F reinforces Air One’s commitment to operational reliability and service consistency across its Asia–Europe network, complementing its established managed fleet of 11 Boeing 747 Freighters,” the business stated.
Air One Chief Commercial Officer Peter Scholten called the Boeing 777 Freighter an “outstanding cargo aircraft.” According to Scholten, adding a second 777F allows the airline to significantly enhance its capacity for reliable, top-tier service on key Asia-Europe commerce routes. He emphasised that this expansion reflects Air One’s focus on operational reliability and its long-term plan to build an advanced, effective fleet to meet customer demand for air freight.
Air One commenced scheduled operations between the UK and Hong Kong in September. For the business, the service represented a growth beyond just charter operations.
Time-sensitive goods, such as electronics and e-commerce, are the focus of the four-times-weekly service.
“This delivery demonstrates the preparedness and capability of our technical and flight operations teams to support our fleet and network expansion,” stated Chris Hope, chief operating officer of One Air. The 777F keeps proving to be a very dependable and effective aircraft that fits our clients’ changing needs.
