The motto “Fly As You Are” underlines the refreshed brand, which champions individuality and a new approach to travel. This development follows Air India Express’s recent identity update, reflecting a step toward a unified brand.
The upcoming merger of Air India Express and Air Asia India heralds a transformative phase in aviation, with a focus on enhanced connectivity, both domestically and internationally.
The integrated entity will operate as “Air India Express,” becoming “New India’s Smart Connector.” This transition consolidates sales, services, and distribution under the Air India Express brand while gradually phasing out the Air Asia branding.
Moreover, the combined entity plans to launch an expanded network encompassing domestic, Gulf, Middle East, and Southeast Asia regions, leveraging a substantial 470-aircraft order.
The brand identity celebrates vibrant colors, a unique livery, and a distinctive sonic identity that captures the spirit of a progressive New India. Future fleet additions will feature designs inspired by traditional Indian patterns, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to offering exceptional travel experiences, blending technology, accessibility, intelligent design, and the warmth of Indian hospitality.
