Boeing has predicted an increased demand for air cargo services by 2041. As per their predictions, the traffic is likely to double and freighter fleet may expand by 60 per cent or more.
World’s cargo fleet may require around 2,800 production and converted freighters for growth and replacement with the need to find more sustainable and fuel-efficient jets like 777-8 Freighter.
A third of deliveries will consist of new production freighters, while the remaining two-thirds will be freighter conversions. The Asia-Pacific region will take delivery of nearly 40 per cent of all freighters, including new and converted freighters.
