The pact focuses on safety, sustainability, policy advocacy, and capacity building in India’s air cargo sector.

The Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI) and The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the ACFI Annual Conclave 2025 to enhance cooperation in advancing the aviation sector, with a focus on air cargo’s contribution to economic and social development in India and the region.
The agreement covers collaboration on safety, capacity building, policy advocacy, supply chain security, sustainability, and access to TIACA’s BlueSky Program, training resources, and Climate Action Platform. It also includes joint efforts on knowledge sharing, cargo service quality, and event partnerships.
ACFI President Sanjiv Edward said the forum plays a vital role in uniting industry and government to drive economic progress. TIACA Chair Steven Polmans and Director General Glyn Hughes highlighted the MoU as a milestone in fostering innovation, resilience, and sustainability, aiming to strengthen India’s position in the global supply chain.
