New sub-brand focuses on low-carbon solutions, circular economies, and advanced sustainability initiatives
CEVA Logistics is reinforcing its commitment to net-zero emissions with the launch of CEVA FORPLANET, a dedicated sub-brand uniting its sustainable logistics solutions. This initiative aims to help customers reduce their supply chain’s environmental impact through low-carbon transport options, circular economy models, and precise CO2e reporting tools.
CEVA FORPLANET aligns with CMA CGM Group’s sustainability goals and addresses scope 3 emissions, which represent 95 percent of CEVA’s emissions in 2023. CEVA has also avoided over 26,000 tons of CO2 emissions in 2024, thanks to sustainable fuels, electric vehicles, and alternative transport modes like rail and barge, reducing emissions by up to 90 percent. Solutions include closed-loop supply chains, reusable packaging, and take-back programs in industries such as automotive and healthcare. In 2024, CEVA’s reusable packaging saved 10,000 kg of plastic.
CEVA FORPLANET provides consulting services and tools like eco-calculators on its MyCEVA platform for tailored supply chain transformation. Notable pilot programs include wind propulsion and resource management solutions for electric vehicle batteries.
Mathieu Friedberg, CEO of CEVA Logistics, stated, “‘Acting for Planet’ is more than a phrase—it’s our guiding principle. CEVA FORPLANET embodies our commitment to decarbonisation and sustainable supply chains for a better future.”
CEVA’s sustainability efforts have earned a gold medal from EcoVadis, placing it in the top 1 percent of logistics companies globally. With CEVA FORPLANET, the company takes another bold step toward fostering eco-friendly logistics and supporting global sustainability goals.
