Borzo launches 3-wheeler and truck delivery service, aiming for 500 daily deliveries by 2025 to strengthen its B2B presence.
Global same-day delivery service provider Borzo, formerly WeFast, has introduced 3-wheeler and truck delivery services to cater to larger B2B shipments. Starting operations in Mumbai, the company plans to expand to Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune by the end of 2024. This new fleet will handle bulkier items like furniture, repair parts, and grocery orders, aiming to onboard 1,500 couriers operating 3-wheelers and Tata Aces.
The initiative reflects Borzo’s strategy to offer flexible, cost-effective logistics solutions, filling a gap between speed and affordability. Couriers, operating as gig workers, will use Borzo’s app for on-demand and end-of-day orders. Initial operations will rely on traditional vehicles, with plans to integrate electric options.
CEO Alina Kisina highlighted the move as essential to meet growing demand for heavier shipments, aiming for 500 deliveries daily by 2025. Promotional pricing strategies will accompany the launch to attract B2B clients and establish market dominance.
