IoTechWorld Avigation gains DGCA approval to establish a Remote Pilot Training Organization.
IoTechWorld Avigation has received approval from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to set up a Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO). This approval highlights IoTechWorld’s commitment to advancing drone technology and training, placing the company at the forefront of India’s rapidly evolving unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) industry.
The RPTO will offer comprehensive training for small and medium-class drones, delivered by DGCA-certified instructors to ensure high standards of safety and proficiency. The training programs will blend theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on drone flying experience, setting IoTechWorld’s RPTO apart with its innovative approach.
The state-of-the-art facility is strategically placed for easy trainee access and optimal learning environments. Deepak Bhardwaj, Co-Founder and Director, expressed excitement about the development, emphasising its role in creating skilled drone operators, particularly for agricultural applications.
With an annual training capacity of around 800 individuals, IoTechWorld will offer diverse programs, including Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) courses and specialised RPC+OEM courses. Anoop Upadhyay, Director and Co-Founder, highlighted the company’s dedication to pioneering excellence in the drone industry and its mission to revolutionise sectors like agriculture.
The RPTO’s practical training approach ensures trainees gain valuable real-world experience, with courses varying in duration based on factors like candidate numbers and drone class. The DGCA-approved license and RPCs will be valid for 10 years, reflecting long-term commitment to quality training.
