Gadkari champions the adoption of green fuels, particularly hydrogen, emphasising its potential to revolutionise India’s energy landscape.
At an election rally in support of BJP leader Giriraj Singh in Begusarai, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari championed the transition to green fuels, particularly highlighting hydrogen as the “fuel of the future.” Gadkari emphasised the inevitability of vehicles running on green fuels in the near future, heralding a shift away from fossil fuels.
Gadkari underscored Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to both national development and the welfare of farmers, emphasising the role of agriculture in producing green fuels. He outlined plans to increase ethanol demand, transforming farmers into energy providers rather than solely food providers.
The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways expressed his vision for a future where motorcycles, e-rickshaws, auto-rickshaws, and cars are all powered by ethanol, signaling a significant shift towards sustainable transportation.
Gadkari predicted that this transition would not only drive job creation in the agriculture sector but also benefit farmers in Bihar and across the nation. He reiterated the government’s focus on infrastructure development, a cornerstone of PM Modi’s vision to propel India towards becoming a USD 5 trillion economy.
Asserting confidence in the NDA alliance, Gadkari affirmed their commitment to winning all 40 seats in Bihar, emphasising the government’s efforts to enhance national highways and foster overall growth and self-reliance.
Union Minister Giriraj Singh, seeking re-election from Begusarai, stands as the NDA nominee, contesting against CPI candidate Awadhesh Rai in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Bihar’s fourth phase on May 13.
