Sanjay Kumar briefly worked for AirAsia India before joining InterGlobe Technology Quotient. From 2007 until 2018, he served as IndiGo’s chief commercial officer. From 2020 until 2023, he then oversaw Indigos’ strategy and revenue-generating activities.
Sanjay Kumar, a former chief strategy and revenue officer of IndiGo, has joined as president and CEO of InterGlobe Technology Quotient, a travel technology business owned by the same group that runs the airline.
In the meantime, he served as the chief operating officer of AirAsia India, which is now a division of Air India owned by the Tata group. An aviation veteran, Kumar began his career in 1991 with Air Sahara, which Jet Airways later acquired. He was part of the startup team and laid out the initial plans for low-fare carrier SpiceJet.
