HPCL and NLDS partner to integrate APIs with ULIP, revolutionising logistics transparency

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has signed an agreement with NICDC Logistics Data Services (NLDS) to integrate its APIs into the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP). This initiative aims to enhance transparency, operational efficiency, and innovation in India’s logistics sector.

The agreement was signed by Girish Kumar Supur, CEO, NLDS, and Anju Jai Misra, General Manager, Delhi Retail Region, HPCL, in the presence of Rajat Kumar Saini, CEO & MD, NICDC and Chairman, NLDS, and Avinash Jain, Chief General Manager, North Zone, HPCL.

Through this partnership, HPCL’s API will provide real-time visibility into fuel station locations and pricing across India. This data enables logistics operators to optimise route planning, manage fuel costs effectively, and reduce operational inefficiencies. The integration supports seamless trip planning, minimises unplanned stops, and enhances fleet efficiency by allowing operators to strategically identify refueling points along key routes.

Rajat Kumar Saini, Chairman, NLDS, highlighted the importance of this collaboration, stating, “HPCL’s integration with ULIP offers logistics operators essential tools for data-driven decision-making, addressing major pain points in route planning and cost management.”

The collaboration has already seen interest from participants in ULIP Hackathon 2.0, where over 10 projects leverage HPCL’s API to develop solutions like dynamic route optimisation, fuel cost calculators, and fuel station density heat maps.

This partnership reflects HPCL and ULIP’s shared vision of creating a smarter, more efficient logistics ecosystem, empowering stakeholders with real-time data and fostering innovation to advance India’s supply chain efficiency.
